National Emergency Trust COVID Fund goes LIVE

The National Emergencies Trust (NET) is distributing £12million of funds from its Coronavirus Appeal to a range of charity partnerships offering targeted support to some of the UK’s most at risk groups. The sum of £12million from NET’s Coronavirus Appeal will fund helplines and other support services to address unmet need among disproportionately impacted groups, including Disabled People.

SPECTRUM Centre for Independent Living has been chosen as the partner organisation for the South East and welcomes applications from Disabled People’s Organisations across the region. Applications from BAME, LGBTQ and organisations in rural areas are particularly welcome.

Please note that applications close on 5th October 2020; however, due to the delay centrally in processing the British Sign Language and Easy Read versions of the Information for Applicants, the closing date for Hearing Impaired groups and Learning Difficulty groups will be 19th October.
