SENDPO Conference: Delivering Peer Led Information, Advice and Advocacy Services in Light of the Care Act

This conference will be held on Thursday, 29 October 2015 at Ashburton Hall, Elizabeth Ii Court,Winchester, Hampshire SO23 8UJ between 11:00am and 4:00pm. It is for commissioners who want to commission peer led services from user-led organisations and for user led organisations who want to deliver peer-led information, advice and advocacy services.
This one-day conference is organised by SENDPO, in partnership with Hampshire County Council. It will provide opportunities to:

• Network with other commissioners and user led organisations (ULOs) in the South-East
• Explore a range of different models of delivering peer-led information, advice and advocacy services
• Explore sustainable ways of information, advice and advocacy services being funded
• Explore capacity building options to enable user-led organisations to confidently deliver quality services

The conference will be chaired by Think Local Act Personal and the National Co-production Advisory Group. The day will be an interesting mix of case studies, workshops and networking. Refreshments and lunch will be provided. You can download the draft programme here.
