Community Navigator (Southampton)
Working Hours: 2 days (15hrs) per week
36 Month Contract (with possible extension of a further 12 months)
Salary: £10,484 per year
SPECTRUM Centre for Independent Living is an organisation controlled by Disabled People, which since 1984, has developed a range of highly innovative services that enable people to live independently and exercise choices and control over their lives.
Community Navigators will make a real difference to patients and service users, enabling and helping them gain access to a broad range of services offered by voluntary and charitable organisations in the community. This is a great opportunity to make a tangible difference to the health and wellbeing of local people.
This post will suit people with a commitment to improving the quality life of people who are frequent users of health and social care services; people who have a good understanding of the issues and services within communities across the city of Southampton; and, people committed to the principles of Independent Living and individual empowerment.
A training and induction package will enable you to develop your skills.
